FINALLY, a documentary that tells it like it is about modern healthcare in American. From the bonuses for denying care provided to doctors in the HMO supervisory positions to the politicians with a vested interest in keeping the status quo,
SiCKO lays it bare for all to see.
At times, the movie/documentary makes you laugh, but more often than not, it makes you cry. It makes you angry to see how other countries provide free healthcare for their citizens.
I don't care if you are conservative or liberal, democrat or republican, anarchist or libertarian, you should support this movie by buying a ticket.
This movie is a wakeup call for change. Michael Moore has shown that he is a force for change, and in a profoundly compelling manner, far surpassing the written word, he takes us on a frustrating journey from the USA to Canada to England to France, to Cuba, and we see how the USA is the ONLY civilized , industrialized nation that does NOT offer universal healthcare to its citizens.
It's about time this changed, and hopefully Mike's film will be a rallying cry for that change, and a catalyst that provokes people to act and demand a change.
